Are you ready to take the next step in your classroom career and lead with confidence?
Do you thrive on the challenge of delivering engaging lessons that inspire young minds?
Are you looking for a supportive primary school where your dedication will be rewarded with a permanent future?
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant primary school in Bradford. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity starting in April 2026, allowing you to integrate into the school community with the security of a long-term career path.
The RoleAs an HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in the school's success, working closely with the teaching team to elevate pupil attainment. Your responsibilities will include:
-
Leading Whole-Class Learning: Stepping up to deliver lessons across the primary curriculum during teacher PPA time or absences.
-
Targeted Interventions: Planning and delivering high-impact sessions for small groups or individuals to bridge learning gaps.
-
Subject Support: Assisting in the preparation of resources and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
-
Collaborative Planning: Working alongside class teachers to monitor progress and provide detailed feedback on pupil development.
-
Must have significant experience working within the UK education system.
-
Hold a recognised HLTA status or a Level 3 qualification in Education/Childcare.
-
Proven experience in a primary school setting (KS1/KS2).
-
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
This Temp to Perm agreement offers the best of both worlds: the flexibility to ensure the school is the right fit for you throughout the summer term, followed by the stability of a permanent contract.
