We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our friendly team at Tarmac ‘Hub’ in Mountsorrel, Quorn, near to Loughborough, Leicestershireworking on a part time basis.This isa great opportunityto join a successful Customer Service teamengaging with customers via telephone and email to ensure orders are progressed speedily. Working 8 hrs per day Thursday and Friday8am – 5pm.Then 4 hours onWednesdayafternoon1pm-5pm. You will also work occasional Saturday morning on a rota basis (1 in 8).

As well as Loughborough this role is easily accessible from Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Barrow upon Soar, Syston, Shepshed, Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Ibstock, Swadlincote, Measham, Tamworth, Atherstone, Hinkley, Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton, Kegworth, Burton upon Trent and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor the role of Customer Service Coordinator will work cross-functionally within our Customer Service Team and be the initial point of contact for our customers.

Your role as a Customer Service Coordinator will include:

  • Responsibility forcustomer enquiriesviatelephone, onlineand emailordersfrominitialcontactthroughtodelivery
  • Providing customers with an excellent customer service experience ensuringhigh level of customer care and attention at all times
  • Completingdata entry andorderprocessingtasks
  • Collaboratingwithin the teamand other stakeholdersto clarify facts, exchange information, support colleagues andresolvequeries
  • Inputtingaccuratecustomer data into the CRM system
  • Building relationships with the key stakeholders in the account base
  • Working closely with the Fleet and Capacity planners toascertaintransport and material availability
  • Ensuring customers are kept informed at all times allowing us to plan our transport fleet to meet relevant commercial demands

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Customer Service Coordinator will have experience gained within a similar role, engaging with stakeholders. Suitable candidates for the role of Customer Service Coordinator will have:

  • First class customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to dealwith stakeholdersat all levelsboth internally and externally
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Anapproachableand engagingmanner
  • Ability todemonstratetenacity and resilience when working under pressure
  • Flexibility to work in a successfulteam environment
  • A desire to grow and be successful
  • Confidence in the use of IT systems including MS Word and Excel
  • Experience of Salesforce CRMadvantageousbut not essential (training provided)
