We're looking for a Ward Host who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.
Contract: PermanentType of Employment: Part TimeHours: 16 hours per weekSalary: £11,554.89 per annum Location: King George Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford, Greater London, England, IG38YB
Role Responsibilities:
-Prepare and maintain dining and service for the patients, including food, trolleys, and cleaning equipment.
-Serve food in correct portions and wash dishes, cutlery, and catering equipment.
-Clean ward pantry daily and follow health and safety standards.
-Maintain records and procedures.
-Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, manager, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
What we're looking for:
-Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).
-Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (training provided if not held).
-Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
-Passion for customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
-Adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident with strong organisational and time management skills.
