Crynodeb
As part of the team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting policy development, and contributing to key processes such as appeals and complaint investigations. Key Responsibilities
• Support the Education Transformation Officer in delivering an effective Admissions & Home to School Transport function.
• Collate and prepare information for Admissions and Home to School/Post-16 Transport Appeal panels.
• Liaising with Contractors in relation to the delivery of Home to School transport
• Assist in the development and review of policies relating to admissions and transport, making recommendations where appropriate.
• Coordinate and respond to day-to-day queries related to Home to School Transport provision.
• Liaise with schools and families regarding transport arrangements.
• Process applications using the CAPITA transport and admissions software system.
• Assist with the development of the CAPITA system for Admission and Home to School Transport
• Support the investigation of parental complaints relating to home-to-school transport.
• Assist with checking invoices in relation to contractor payments.
• Adhere to the organisation’s Health, Safety and Welfare policy and demonstrate a strong commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
• Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role as requested by the Education Transformation Officer.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Communicates confidently with families, schools, and external organisations.
• Works well under pressure and can manage multiple deadlines.
• Is confident using digital systems—experience with CAPITA is an advantage, but training can be provided.
• Has a positive, solution-focused attitude and enjoys working collaboratively.
Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The postholder will be required to complete an application for an Enhanced Disclosure of Criminal Records.
Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement of the role.
