Summary
Role: HGV Class 2 Driver - ongoing
Location: Northfleet, Gravesend
Hours: 8am start - Wednesday to Friday OR Tuesday to Friday
Pay: £16 per hour
Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver, working for a UK drink wholesaler
Benefits for HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Ongoing - starting Wednesday to Friday, then changing to Tuesday to Friday when volume increases
- No weekends
- Vehicle pre-loaded
- Paid minimum 8 hours per day
- Assisted by driver mate
- Use of company APP
- Weekly pay - PAYE
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:
- Multi-drop deliveries of drinks, bar & cleaning products to pubs, restaurants, and clubs
- Deliveries in London, Kent, Surrey, & Sussex
- Manual handling included
- Completion of paperwork
- Use of sack barrow to offload
- Carrying out vehicle check on a daily basis
Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver:
- HGV Class 2 licence (C category) - max 6 points on licence (cannot accept any DD, DR, or DG offences)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Good customer service skills
- Reliability
- Good communication skills
- Minimum 1 year experience essential
