About the Role:The Best Connection is pleased to partner with a trusted client in recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their dedicated team in Grays.
This role offers immediate starts, consistent weekday work, and ongoing assignments with a reputable agency. The position involves delivering kegs and palletised goods to pubs across South East London, working alongside a driver's mate.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a Class 2 (HGV Cat C) vehicle in compliance with road traffic laws and company procedures
- Deliver kegs and palletised goods to pubs across South East London
- Complete 5-10 drops per shift
- Carry out manual handling duties, supported by a driver's mate
- Drive on London routes as part of daily operations
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate driving and delivery documentation
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Category C entitlement
- Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 3 penalty points
- Valid Driver CPC card
- Valid UK Digital Tachograph card
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- £17.14 per hour
- Monday to Friday shifts
- Immediate starts available
