Crynodeb
For further information please refer to the Job Description & Person Specification. Daily monitoring of RIS, PACS & VNA system performance and imaging system interfaces. Perform imaging IT system application configuration such as addition of exams codes, set up and maintenance of RIS templates, creation and modification of PACS display protocols and worklists. Support the planning and management of system upgrades, liaising with affected system users, advising users of business continuity procedures during periods of system unavailability. Extract complex statistical information from the systems to meet routine and ad hoc information requirements. Manage the integrity of data and studies on imaging IT systems to ensure timely availability of diagnostic imaging data and reports. Provide training for all diagnostic imaging staff in use of the imaging IT systems in accordance with their job descriptions and service needs. Deputise for the PACS & Radiology Systems Manager when necessary and act as the lead for the clerical team when required ensuring the team are supported in their role.
