Workforce Coordinator - 37.5 Hours per week
Join us in shaping a smarter, more efficient workforce
Are you someone who enjoys problem‑solving, supporting others, and working with data that makes a real difference?
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑focused individual to join our Workforce Intelligence team and help drive the effective use of our electronic rostering system across the Trust.
What you’ll be doing
• Provide friendly, expert support to staff using the Trust’s electronic rostering platform
• Carry out day‑to‑day data maintenance and routine reporting to keep our workforce information accurate and reliable
• Contribute to system development, upgrades, and implementation projects as part of our ongoing improvement cycle
• Support the delivery of high‑quality Workforce Intelligence services, including benchmarking and performance reporting
• Complete regular and ad hoc data quality check
You will also assist with workforce information requests under the guidance of the Workforce Systems Analyst and Senior Administrators
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working with systems, have a keen eye for detail, and are confident supporting colleagues at all levels. Strong communication skills, a methodical approach, and a willingness to learn are key.
This is a fast‑paced, varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, supporting others and getting stuck into meaningful work. The successful candidate will bring excellent communication skills, with the confidence to explain technical processes in a clear, accessible way. You’ll be a collaborative team player who’s equally comfortable taking initiative and working independently when needed.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing user support across all levels of the Trust for the electronic rostering system
• Carrying out system maintenance for ESR and the Electronic Roster
• Delivering engaging training sessions to key stakeholders and new managers
• Completing data quality checks, routine reporting and basic data analysis
• Contributing to system implementation, upgrades and ongoing improvement projects
Our STAR values – Service, Teamwork, Ambition and Respect – are a golden thread running through everything we do. These values serve as a guiding principle, driving us towards our vision of delivering great joined up services to our local community.
Whether at home, in the community, or within the hospital, our goal is to empower individuals to lead independent and healthier lives.
The post holder will provide user support to all staff groups for the Trust’s electronic rostering platform, also offering the Workforce, Insights, Systems and Planning team with BAU data maintenance and reporting. As part of the systems maintenance cycle, the post holder may also be involved in the development and implementation of the system or similar systems within the organisation.
