What skills and experience we're looking for

Meldreth Preschool is at the heart of our friendly village community, providing high-quality early years education for children aged 2–4 years. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join our dynamic Early Years team as a Room Leader.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and education within a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment.

As Room Leader, you will:

- Lead, teach, and support children to develop and thrive within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

- Deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences

- Inspire and support a small team of practitioners

- Ensure high standards of care, learning, and wellbeing

- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

The ideal candidate will:

- Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification

- Have a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS

- Demonstrate good leadership and organisational skills

- Be creative and enthusiastic, with the ability to plan sensory, small world, and creative activities

- Work effectively as part of a team

- Bring a caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach to their wor
