Reporting Radiographer Post

WWL are looking for a highly motivated Reporting Radiographer to join the Reporting Team to help provide a high-quality radiographic reporting service. The advertised role provides an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to expand their knowledge and skills, whilst delivering a flexible and efficient patient focused service. As a Trust, we are at the forefront of technology and currently use Harrison AI (formally Annalise) for chest x-rays, which offers an exciting opportunity to engage with AI developments.

The working pattern will be 28.5 hours per week across three days, Monday to Friday. The specific working arrangements can be discussed further, and a bespoke set up and job plan agreed that matches service requirements.

Evidence of qualifications will be requested during interview and compliance stage.

Please note this position may close before the advertised closing date if a sufficient number of applications are received.

The main duties of this role include independently interpreting radiographic images and producing accurate, high-quality formal reports within a defined scope of practice. The post holder will use advanced image interpretation skills, apply analytical judgement to complex findings, and ensure all reports support safe and effective patient management. The post holder will be expected to provide specialist advice to clinicians, support the development of colleagues and trainees, deliver teaching sessions, and contribute to maintaining high standards across the reporting service.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following during application and/or interview:
• PgCert in MSK Reporting (essential).
• PgCert in Adult Chest Reporting (desirable). Please note, we would also encourage applications from candidates who are currently working towards this reporting qualification.
• Abdominal Reporting (desirable).
