We are looking to employ a Transport Office Assistant / Administrator to support our busy transport office.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a transport office and be confident handling day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- General office administration, filing, and record keeping
- Organizing and communicating with drivers
- Sending and receiving text messages to and from drivers
- Liaising with customers and drivers via telephone
- Updating internal systems and making accurate notes
- Supporting office staff and responding to queries throughout the day
- Previous experience working in a transport office environment
- Confident using computers and multiple business applications
- Strong communication skills (telephone and written)
- Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn our operating system and follow instructions from senior staff
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Kings Norton
- Flexible attitude to hours of work, as there maybe occasions they will need to support after SWH.
- Hourly pay of £12.21
