We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Personal Assistant to support a young lady with autism at home and in the community. The role involves providing constant supervision due to PICA and a risk of absconding, so the PA must be physically fit and able to respond quickly if she runs off. The client can display behaviours that challenge and requires support with personal care, including toileting. She understands verbal communication but has very limited spoken language and also has epilepsy, so awareness and confidence in managing seizures is essential. The PA will also support mum when taking her out in the community, helping to ensure her safety and wellbeing at all times.

How will the hours be usedThe role is for 4 hours per week, to be arranged at a mutually convenient time for both employer and employee, as there are currently no fixed days available.
