Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant (Scale 2) to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in need of care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of care in a safe and supportive environment. Your role will involve building positive relationships with clients, understanding their individual needs, and responding to their preferences with empathy and respect. You will also assist with medication management, mobility support, and maintaining a clean and comfortable living space. Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients with mobility and help them engage in physical activities.
Administer medications according to care plans and monitor clients' health conditions.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with dining when necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Document care provided and report changes in client conditions to healthcare professionals.
Build trusting relationships with clients and encourage their independence and self-esteem.
Requirements
A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Previous experience in a care assistant or similar role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and their families.
Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others in need.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in healthcare.
A good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and dignity in care.

Pay Per Hour: £12.45
