Job Overview:
Hedon Primary School is looking to appoint a hardworking, motivated and reliable individual to join our lunchtime supervisory team. This role will include working with all children but you may also be required to support a child with 1:1 needs.A caring and friendly attitude is required with good behaviour management skills and an enthusiastic participation in the activities undertaken across lunchtimes both inside and outside. The successful candidate will be required to support and promote good dining room manners and encourage all pupils to eat their lunch completely whilst also ensuring all school policies and procedures are adhered to.
Salary Details
Grade 1, Scp 2, £3,825 per annum (actual salary)Contract: 1 hour 15 minutes per day (6.25 hrs per week) term-time onlyHours: Lunch period runs from 11.55am to 1.10pmJob Requirements:The successful candidate will:Work to provide safe supervision of pupils over the lunchtime period.Encourage good behaviour in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy.Ensure that pupils are engaged in play activities during their lunch break.Be able to work as part of a team, as well as under their own initiative.Motivate, engage and enthuse pupils, so that they are active and excited to participate in activities.Use their initiative to ensure pupils are safe and happy.Be flexible, resilient and have the ability to think on their feet.Be a team player and have a genuine passion for inclusion.Further information can be found in the job description and person specification.
