Chord Event was born from a desire to offer something better to the market: quality materials, high service levels, beautiful design, and highly functional products. Founder John Hart, set up Chord in 2016 after working in the events industry for nearly 20 years when he saw a gap in the market for more customisable and quality temporary structures to help brands achieve their marketing and brand objectives. Chord has since become well known for offering exceptional service and product to the market and is proud to work with some of the world’s most luxury and best-known brands.
We’re looking for Construction Crew Members to join Chord Event, supporting the smooth delivery of world-class temporary structures. You will play a key part in bringing our clients’ visions to life, taking on varied tasks across warehouse preparation, logistics and on-site assembly/dismantle.
Your Role:
• Build & Dismantle: Be hands-on with assembling and dismantling state-of-the-art structures at major event sites, ensuring everything is safe, precise, and up to our high standards.
• Prep Work: Get the gear ready for the next big job by organising materials and equipment at our Ellen’s Green warehouse. You’ll keep things running smoothly, both on and off-site.
• Travel & Teamwork: Be part of a tight-knit, energetic crew. Expect a fair bit of travel and overnight stays during our busy April–October season. Every day is a new challenge, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Who You Are:
• Proactive & Hands-On: You’ve got a can-do attitude a positive mindset and are ready to jump into physical, practical work.
• Industry Experience (Bonus): Experience in events or construction is great, but if you’re passionate and eager to learn, we’ll teach you the ropes. MEWPs, Forklift or NPORS (or equivalent) certifications – desirable but not essential.
• Detail-Orientated.
• Ready to Travel – with a willingness to travel and stay away when required. A full, clean driving
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
