Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP Administrator to join the Packhouse team. This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. A weekend day will be included in the 5 days. There is the option to work additional hours during the week, if requested.
This is a temporary position expected to last until 30 November 2026. There may be the possibility of the position becoming full time.
The key purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Production Administration, primarily SAP and Despatch administration, contributing towards the optimum running of the overall Operation at Selby.
Previous experience of SAP is not essential as full training will be provided however applicants must be computer literate.
For the first couple of weeks, the successful candidate would be required to work weekdays to complete the necessary training for this role.
Responsibilities:
Ensure daily SAP requirements are managed efficiently
Processing orders and liaising with the Planning department
Ensure despatch notes are processed in time to meet vehicle schedules
Making transport bookings
Highlight any SAP discrepancies to line manager or respective departmental management teams
Maintain and update reports for the Transport department
Closing weekly orders – liaising with the Finance department
Carry out general administrative tasks
Carry out administrative training when required

Willingness to learn new skills
Desirable:
Previous experience in an administrative role
Previous SAP experience or equivalent ERP software
