South Staffordshire College are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic teacher and assessor to join our team of staff delivering Supporting Teaching and Learning (Teaching Assistant) and Coaching and Mentoring qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful team.

The ideal candidate will hold a PGCE or Cert Ed (or be willing to work towards one) and have a Level 3 or higher qualification in a relevant area, such as Supporting Teaching and Learning, Coaching and Mentoring, or a comparable discipline. They should also hold a recognised assessor qualification (or be willing to work towards one) and possess substantial, practical experience delivering and supporting classroom lessons, as well as conducting learner observations. Experience in coaching and mentoring learners is essential. In addition, candidates must demonstrate a sound knowledge of NCFE, CACHE, or Gateway specifications and internal quality assurance processes.

The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be flexible and have a passion for supporting learners. The role is based at Tamworth and involves travel across the West Midlands area. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher and assessor to help play a key role in developing teaching assistants of the future.
