Electrician
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Wireperson / Electrician to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company that supplies specialised machinery and equipment to industries worldwide. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work within a skilled team in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Production Manager
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Plan and wire a wide range of machinery and electrical control panels following detailed electrical schematics and drawings
Carry out control panel wiring and on-machine electrical installations
Wire PLC-controlled systems (no programming or software knowledge required)
Install and connect motors, drives, relays, transformers, HMI’s and various sensors
Complete on-machine wiring including trunking, cable tray, junction boxes and cable management systems
Follow cable schedules and electrical drawings accurately
Carry out fault finding and electrical diagnostics when required
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet production and project deadlines
Qualifications & Skills
Ideally a fully time-served electrician with experience in control panel and on-machine wiring
Experience working with three-phase systems
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and cable schedules
Competent in fault finding and electrical diagnostics
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable but not essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Additional Information
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays
Hours Per Week: 37.5
Overtime: Available
Salary: £18 per hour, dependent on experience (DOE)
