We are currently recruiting a professional and confident waiter or waitress to join the whisky and cigar department of a prestigious hotel in Central London.
Position Overview:
Roles: Waiter/Waitress
Locations: Central London
Salary: Starting from £12.60 per hour
Shifts: Full-time, Term-Perm – weekly rota
Start Date: Immediate
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing attentive and knowledgeable table service within the whisky and cigar lounge. Guests will expect recommendations, product knowledge and a calm, polished approach at all times. You will work closely with the team to maintain high standards of service, presentation and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serving guests in the whisky and cigar lounge with professionalism and attention to detail
• Advising guests on whisky and cigar selections, including pairings and flavour profiles
• Ensuring the lounge is presented to a high standard throughout service
• Handling orders, payments and guest enquiries confidently
• Working to weekly rota schedules and supporting the wider hospitality team when required
Requirements:
• Very good spoken English is essential, with confidence in communicating with international guests
• Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a hotel, bar or luxury hospitality environment
• Good knowledge of whisky and cigars, or strong proven interest with the ability to speak about products
• Professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Reliability, flexibility and a positive approach to shift work

• This is a term-to-permanent role, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract after 10 weeks for the right candidate
