Crynodeb
A popular ABRS approved riding school is looking for a candidate to join their team. The location consists of a riding school and livery yard offering the candidate plenty of opportunities to learn and develop.
You will be responsible for the welfare and care of the horses duties including:-
Tacking up
Mucking out
Turning out
Lunging
Grooming etc
Getting horses ready for lessons
Speaking to customersThe facilities include an indoor school, outdoor school, jumping paddock and fantastic hacking. On site they also have a camp site so you will be able to develop your customer service skills also.
The ideal candidate will work well within a friendly team and you must have current horse experience.
Training
Alongside the employer, Haddon Training LTD will provide the educational side of the programme.
Qualifications required
Willing to work towards L2 in Functional Skills if you don't hold a GSCE 4/C or above in Maths and English
Skills required
The employer require someone who already has some experience in working with horses.
Prospects
For the right candidate, there could be the opportunity to progress to the Level 3 Senior Equine groom apprenticeship, or into standard full-time employment.
Qualification / Standard : ST0166 Equine groom
Duration 12 Months
