Salary: Grade D points 6 - 11 (£25,989 - £28,142 FTE), Actual Salary £22,926 - £24,825 per annumHours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday usually between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm. As Admin Officer you will lead the day-to-day administration operations of the school, ensuring systems run smoothly at all times. You will also work closely with and support the School Business Manager, responding to a wide range of administrative and operational needs.
The role includes a range of general administration duties, such as:
stock control for school uniform and stationery
distributing resources
processing purchase orders and invoices (using Bromcom)
confirming deliveries
liaising with suppliers
Alongside this you will:
support HR and recruitment processes
manage the school’s main inbox
support school communications, including letters, calls and emails
maintain pupil data (using Arbor)
support with completing the census
administering income and payments for clubs via Arbor
help maintain financial records for school services
assist with statutory and non-statutory returns and audits
To fulfil this role, you will be requiring excellent ICT skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high professional standards in all internal and external communications.
