Summary
Class 2 Driver
Salary: £39,835.85 per annum plus single person allowance
Daily meal allowance - per day worked
Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Garmondsway, Ferryhill, DL17 9DT

What you'll be doing;
- To drive/operate vehicles and equipment as required by the Company and in accordance with a valid licence, experience and training for the vehicle and equipment
- To drive/operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with Company safety procedures and safe working practices, complying with relevant legislation at all times
- To complete, check and return all paperwork required in undertaking these duties (including tachographs, daily vehicle reports, defect reports, route sheets and waste transfer notes)
- To undertake any training/instruction required to carry out these duties
- To deal with customers, colleagues and members of the public in a responsible, professional and courteous manner
- To maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles and equipment to a high standard
- To notify management of any medication taken that may affect performance
What we're looking for;
Essential:
- Class 2 (category C) licence
- Valid CPC / Tacho Card
- Confident and capable to undertake physically demanding tasks
- Good geographic knowledge of operating area
Desired:
- Understanding of relevant waste management legislation.
