Hours: 37 per week Are you a qualified accountant looking for a contract role where you can make an immediate impact? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. What you'll be doing
- Managing month-end close activities with precision and efficiency
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations post month-end
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation and meeting regulatory deadlines
- Responding to external audit queries and ensuring robust financial controls
- Collaborating with operational teams to enhance financial reporting and performance
- Driving improvements in financial processes and controls
- Fully qualified accountant and registered with recognised accounting body, with 1-2 years post-qualification experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proactive, methodical approach with flexibility to support ad hoc tasks
- Solid knowledge of financial systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Confident communicator who can challenge constructively and drive continuous improvement
