Murray Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing company within the fit-out and construction sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join a supportive and collaborative team, where full training will be provided.
This role would suit someone with strong administrative experience who is keen to develop a long-term career within construction, project coordination, or commercial support.
Role Overview
Working closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams, the Project Administrator will play a key role in supporting tender submissions, cost tracking, and overall project administration. The successful candidate will be trained in construction processes, estimating fundamentals, and bid support, making this an ideal development opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the pre-construction and project teams
Assist with the preparation and coordination of tender and bid documentation
Collate information from drawings, specifications, and supplier quotations (training provided)
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to request and track pricing information
Maintain project records, cost trackers, and internal databases
Support the team with document control, version management, and filing systems
Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and presentations for internal and client use
Attend pre-tender and project meetings where required and take accurate notes
Ensure deadlines are met and information is issued accurately and on time
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an administrative, project support, or coordination role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Good communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn new skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience within construction, engineering, or fit-out environments is advantageous but not essential

Full-time, permanent position based in Lanarkshire
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm / Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
