Crynodeb
We are looking for a Quality Manager at our head office in Steeton, West Yorkshire. The purpose of the role is to lead and integrate comprehensive quality, environmental, and safety management systems across the site and supply chain to ensure total product compliance and continuous improvement.
Salary : £40,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)
Working Hours : Monday - Friday (40 hours)

Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement quality standards and SOPs in order to ensure all products and processes consistently meet customer expectations and organizational benchmarks.
Execute comprehensive audit programs and document control in order to maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements and integrated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems.
Manage the end-to-end inspection and testing of raw materials and finished goods in order to guarantee that only compliant, high-specification products are released to the market.
Monitor scrap, rework, and key quality KPIs in order to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing cost-effectiveness.
Oversee vendor qualification and rating systems in order to improve supplier performance and minimize risks associated with incoming materials and third-party services.
Lead cross-functional teams through root cause analysis and CAPA processes in order to resolve systemic issues and prevent the recurrence of quality failures.
Mentor the quality inspection team and support departmental integration in order to foster a high-performance culture.
Skills and Experience:
University degree in a relevant engineering field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar quality or engineering role.
Experience building and maintaining ISO 9001 quality systems.
Practical knowledge of Lean tools and continuous improvement methods.
Ability to use Root Cause Analysis to solve quality issues.
Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate standards to others.
Proficient in Microsoft Office for data tracking and reporting.
Six Sigma Green Belt or MCQI CQP membership is a plus.
