Summary
Worksop Tarmacadam are looking for Experienced Groundworkers to work on housing / highways developments (gang of 2 or individuals)
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out multiple aspects of groundworks including excavation, concreting, kerbing, paving, drainage, utilities, ducting and remedial works.
• Adjusting of ironworks to final finish levels and gradients
• Kerbing and other remedial works to L.A. Highways standard
• Operate small plant and equipment safely (when trained).
• Work to levels and specifications.
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to deliver quality work on time.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised site.
• Represent the company professionally, demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
Key Requirements
• Valid CSCS Card, CPCS/NPORS cards.
• NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Groundworks.
• Street Works (NRSWA) Units 1–9 desirable although not essential
• Valid Dumper, Loader Compressor, and Excavator (Digger) tickets.
• Proven experience working as a Groundworker within civil engineering or construction projects.
• Strong awareness of health & safety and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
