Duties you will be responsible for:
- Managing purchase and sales ledger processes with precision
- Reconciling bank statements regularly and accurately
- Performing routine bookkeeping and financial transactions
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Handling import/export and customs accounting procedures
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
Requirements for the role:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, ideally within the motor trade or similar environment
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of motor trade accounting software such as Pinewood, Pinnacle, Kerridge, or CDK
- Good understanding of financial procedures and controls
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
