A lady is looking for a female personal assistant, to support her to live an independent life on a day-to-day basis. As a personal assistant you will be required to provide support in a range of areas including but not limited to:
Support with mental health diagnosis, shopping, attending appointments and prompts around day to day routine. Able to plan routes and be comfortable on public transport. Support with preventing self-neglect, encourage structure and routine.
Support with reaching goals set out in support plan.
Provide reassurance and prompts around personal hygiene, getting dressed, cooking, maintaining habitable home and managing safety around the house.
Assist with admin tasks such as managing medical appointments and letters.
Looking for someone to be open to get to know me, to be understanding, patient and flexible. Reliable and punctual. Experience of working as a Personal assistant with mental health diagnosis is ESSENTIAL due to complex presentation. If you are friendly, enthusiastic, motivating, and caring and want to support someone to remain independent, this job is for you!
