Other Aspects of the postThe post holder will, with the other subspecialty fellow, be responsible for daily ward roundswith the junior medical staff. This post has emphasis on diagnostic clinics thereby, postholderwill be expected to attend rapid access clinics. We are fortunate to have a close working relationship with the Department of Histopathology and diagnostic radiology. The trainee will be responsible for the co-ordination of the weekly MDT meetings with our MDM co-ordinator, presenting patients details and implementing management plans post MDM. Medical AuditBarts Health NHS Trust has a medical audit department which is actively co-ordinating developments in this field. The post-holder would be expected to participate in the Directorates medical audit programme and our Departments monthly audit meetings.
