Location: Small Heath
Pay: £13.64 - £15.64 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 6:30pm
Start Date: ASAP

IMPORTANT - ENHANCED DBS REQUIRED

Only candidates with an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will be prioritised.

The Role

The school is looking for a reliable and motivated School Cleaner / Premises Assistant to support the upkeep of the building during afternoon hours. This position is term‑time based but part of an all‑year‑round contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out daily cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces.
- Assisting the premises team with general upkeep and minor maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment for pupils and staff.

Requirements
- Previous cleaning or premises experience is helpful but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Committed to safeguarding and upholding a safe school environment.
