FTE: 0.5fte (working 18.5 hours per week)
Duration of Contract: 1year Fixed Term Contract
Salary: UH6 £33,002pa to £38,784pa (pro rata) by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 35 days pro rata plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

Main duties and responsibilities
The role involves designing and delivering engaging teaching and assessment to support the learning and application of psychology for undergraduate and postgraduate students. As a lecturer, you will be involved in the programme development, committees and boards. You will also provide academic and pastoral care that supports student success.
Skills and experience required
You will have experience of delivering engaging training and teaching. We are particularly looking for expertise in clinical psychology, biological psychology, health psychology, social psychology, psychology and the workplace, personality and individual differences or qualitative research. Experience in designing and delivering engaging teaching is essential. You will be adept at using IT, planning, organising and managing conflicting priorities.
Qualifications required
Educated with a Degree in Psychology or related discipline, or equivalent qualification, a Post Graduate qualification would be advantageous.
