Summary

A Vacancy at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our T&O inpatient Team at the QEQM. The successful candidate will be working alongside colleagues within the team providing a high quality service to a variety of patients within Trauma and Orthopaedic wards, extending into the wider community setting. There will also be the opportunity to work in collaboration with therapy colleagues in the wider team and across the trust.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated therapist who is looking for a new challenge in helping to continually develop the service and who wants to develop their people management skills with support from the Clinical Lead Therapist and senior colleagues.

Please note that previous applicants need not apply.

Supporting Site Lead and Clinical Lead in providing a high quality therapy service to a range of people to ensure a safe, efficient and effective discharge home with appropriate referrals into the community setting.

Collaborative working with the MDT to ensure efficient patient flow through prioritising the caseload and supporting therapy colleagues to organise their caseload appropriately.

Supporting the team in their development and assisting in the day to day running of the therapy service.

We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 695,000 people.

Our vision is 'great healthcare from great people'. Everything we do is guided by our values: ‘People feel cared for, safe, respected and confident that we are making a difference’.

We have a new way of working at East Kent Hospitals, called ‘We care’. It’s about empowering frontline staff to lead improvements day-to-day. We’re looking for compassionate people to be part of our improvement journey for the patients, families and carers we care for every day.
