Summary

We are recruiting an Administrative Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 18.5 Hours (Week 1 – 7.24 Thursday – Friday) / (Week 2 -7.24 Wednesday – Friday)
Contract Type: Permanent, Part time
Location: Ty Penallta / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

The successful candidate will join Caerphilly Homes and play a key role in delivering a customer-focused Community Housing Service.

The postholder will provide essential back-office administrative support functions while also helping to deliver accurate advice, information, and assistance to our customers.

You must be an excellent communicator, have strong organisational skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will work with colleagues to ensure services run smoothly and in compliance with our current processes and procedures, while meeting the highest standards of customer service.

For the role, we ask that you have:

1. A Relevant Level 2 qualification/s on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example, NVQ2 Administration, GCSEs Grade A*-C.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues both verbally and in writing, demonstrating a caring and customer focused approach.
3. Experience of providing administrative support, including data entry and file management.
