Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated individual to join our supportive team in the Specialist Resource Centre, Canolfan y Don. This role involves working closely with pupils who have complex needs, including profound learning, communication and behavioural difficulties.

Main Responsibilities:

- Support pupils in their daily learning, in line with individual plans.
- Work closely with the class teacher and the multi-disciplinary team.
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and social integration for pupils.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Experience working with children with additional needs (desirable).
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and respond flexibly to changing needs.

Desirable:

- Level 2 qualification in Learning Support or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one).
