We are currently recruiting for a full time Project Manager on a fixed term contract (12 months) based in any of the Heritage Fund’s Offices in the following locations: Birmingham, Cambridge, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Cardiff (Hybrid Working).

This encompasses customer care and support, user focused investment management systems including developing a new digital service design approach to improving business processes, new ways of grant management, project management, compliance, and post completion monitoring. Supports the country and area teams across the UK with the resources to provide a consistent and high-quality service to applicants and grantees through development of the knowledge hub, the How to Guide, Register of Support Services, and bespoke training and skills development. Inspiring, leading and resourcing the heritage across the UK through sharing best practice, lessons learned, and knowledge across the sector and in liaison with other grant giving trusts foundations, and agencies. Working across departments to develop the Fund’s capability and capacity to develop its grant-making services to other bodies including development and oversight of grant-in-aid programmes.

As a Project Manager you will work with the Head of Projects to oversee the management of internal projects related to the delivery of our strategic ambitions. You will work with staff across the organisation to develop processes, application materials and project management tools as well as ensuring compliance.

This role will support the team to ensure projects are delivered on time, achieves the specified objectives and provide updates for internal and external stakeholders on progress. At times, the role will focus exclusively on one project but this may change depending on the lifecycle of each project.

Flexible Working

The National Lottery Heritage Fund has offices all over the UK and we champion a flexible approach to working where this supports our business needs. We have formally adopted a hybrid working approach. This means that most employees will work from their contracted Heritage Fund office twice a week at minimum. Time spent on site visits to projects or other meetings based at another Heritage Fund or external office are counted as part of those two days. The other days in the week employees may work from home.
