We are currently seeking professional and reliable Female Security Officers to join our security team at the Port of Tyne. This role is essential to maintaining the safety, security, and smooth operation of port facilities.
Due to operational and welfare requirements, this position is restricted to female applicants in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Key Responsibilities:
Access control and ID checks
Conducting searches in line with port security procedures
Ensuring compliance with port and ISPS security regulations
Responding to incidents professionally and calmly
Providing a visible and reassuring security presence.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional appearance and attitude
Previous security experience preferred but not essential.
