Your new school
A Children's Centre which deals with the local community and runs a number if children parent groups. The role would be a long term contract to start as soon as possible and would be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
Your new job
You will be responsible for managing a busy reception desk in a Children's Centre. The role will entail dealing with parent queries, ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to and sign posting users to the correct services. You will also be responsible for updating data on inhouse systems and general admin.
You will be have strong IT skills as will be using multiple inhouse systems and have strong communication skills
What you'll need to succeed
For this administrator job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
