Are you a Class 2 OR Class 1 Driver looking for reliable temporary work with flexibility and competitive pay?
The Best Connection Eastbourne are currently recruiting Class 2 and 1 (Cat C & C+E) Drivers to support a range of well-established logistics and distribution clients. Whether you're seeking short-term assignments, ongoing agency work, or the opportunity to move into a longer-term role, we have work to suit your availability.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for:
- Multi-drop or trunking deliveries (depending on assignment)
- Safely transporting goods and ensuring loads are secure
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Complying with driver hours, tachograph, and working time regulations
- Representing the company professionally with customers and clients
(Please note: your role may not be limited to these tasks)
What you'll need & what you'll get
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and/or Class 1 (C+E) license
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV experience preferred (newly qualified drivers considered)
- Good understanding of driver hours and compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
