Crynodeb

Do you have the passion to spark curiosity in the next generation of scientists?

Can you simplify complex theories into moments of discovery?

Are you ready to join a community that values kindness and excellence in equal measure?

We are looking for a visionary educator who believes that Science is the key to understanding the world. In this role, you won't just be teaching formulas; you will be fostering a "vulnerable-first" environment where every student, regardless of their starting point, feels empowered to experiment and excel. Joining our high-achieving faculty means working in a "knowledge-engaged" culture that prioritises cognitive science and teacher wellbeing. If you are a practitioner who thrives on "lightbulb moments" and wants to work in a school that treats staff with the same respect it shows its students, we want to hear from you.

Job Role

  • Deliver an engaging Science curriculum across KS3 and KS4.

  • Utilise retrieval practice to embed long-term scientific concepts.

  • Foster a laboratory environment where all students feel "ready" and safe.

  • Maintain high aspirations for students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Must have previous UK teaching experience.

  • Hold QTS and a relevant Science degree.

  • A commitment to a trauma-informed practice and inclusive learning.

Benefits

  • Competitive daily rates paid weekly.

  • Temp-to-perm opportunity with a view to a September contract.

  • Access to a robust wellbeing strategy and professional development.

Don't miss the chance to transform lives through Science, apply today by calling 0113 246 2500 or emailing leeds@randstadeducation.co.uk.
