London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) is looking for a high calibre individual to fill a Head of Finance role.

As Head of Finance, you will provide senior financial leadership across a key portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor to Divisional leadership teams and Executive colleagues. You will be responsible for delivering robust financial planning, reporting, and performance management, while driving improvements in productivity, value for money, and financial governance.

This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who thrives in a complex, fast-paced healthcare environment and is motivated by making a tangible difference to patient care through excellent financial management.

The post holder will add value to the divisions by :
• Providing expert financial advice for large strategic projects or service developments
• Lead on short and medium term divisional finance plans
• Support the planning and delivery of cost and productivity improvement plans
• Lead the delivery of high-quality finance business partnering support to the divisions
• Support the drive to embed service line reporting and patient level costing across clinical areas
• Benchmarking the Trust against other trusts, using this analysis and other tools to drive efficiencies
• Lead the development of the finance team
