About You
To be successful in this role you should hold:

A recognised Business Admin or Team Leader qualification & recent relevant experience
A recognised teaching qualification is desirable
A1 assessor or equivalent qualification or experience of delivery within the field, or willing to work towards
We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills and the ability to create great rapport, helping not only to support our learners, but to engage with employers about each learner’s progress, as well as to explore new opportunities. You must be confident in the use of online learning tools, Microsoft office and be confident in delivery of skills & knowledge both in person and remotely.

You will also be highly organised, with demonstrated planning and time-management skills, supported by good IT skills and meet the criteria as laid out in the person specification for the role.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Business Service Tutor to join our team of professionals delivering Apprenticeship Standards on a national basis.

As part of this role you will:

Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for Business Administration L3, Customer Service L2, and Team Leader L3 apprenticeships

Manage a caseload of apprentices, ensuring progress, achievement, and timely completion

Plan and deliver engaging training that meets apprenticeship standards and Ofsted expectations

Build strong relationships with employers to support learner development and positive outcomes

Ensure Off-the-Job Learning is planned, evidenced, and compliant

Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to quality assurance and inspection readiness

Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and high professional standards

You will deliver inspirational programmes that engage and motivate our learners to progress and achieve.

Safeguarding responsibilities: This role will involve daily contact with learners, and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. All staff have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, and/or vulnerable adults for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact. The Charity’s Safeguarding Policy is available from Central YMCA website.

Any offer of employment will be subject to successfully completing pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, teacher prohibition check, the receipt of satisfactory references, overseas check (if applicable), relevant original ID documentation and examination certificates.
