What You’ll Do at Work
1. General Administration
Provide day-to-day support to office staff by managing phone calls, emails, and general correspondence
Greet and assist visitors, directing them to the appropriate contact or resource
Maintain a clean, organised office environment
Monitor and replenish office supplies as required
2. Document and Data Management
Assist with filing, scanning, and archiving documents
Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies
Prepare, edit, and distribute reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation
Create customer invoices and reconcile incoming payments
Log and reconcile supplier invoices
3. Scheduling and Coordination
Support the scheduling of meetings, appointments, and visits
Coordinate deliveries, mail, and courier services
Order materials and supplies online, via email, and over the phone
4. Communication and Customer Service
Answer incoming calls and emails professionally, providing information or redirecting enquiries
Assist with customer queries and follow up to ensure excellent service
Support internal and external communications on behalf of the administrative team
Work with directors to support business promotion via social media platforms
5. Digital Marketing
Use social media platforms to connect with customers and attract new business
Support digital channels to promote services
Create email newsletters to build and maintain a client community
Assist with activities that drive sales through various channels
6. Learning and Development
Take part in training sessions and workshops to develop administration and customer service skills
Complete all assigned coursework and assessments as part of the apprenticeship programme
Seek feedback, show initiative, and adapt to new responsibilities

GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade 4 or above
