The Role:
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant (TA3) to join our dedicated team, to cover classes for short-term teacher absences and work with small groups throughout the school. Working in partnership with our experienced and dedicated staff, helping to build on our successes and drive the school forward in future development and growth. This position is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant who wants to further their career within a good school with a strong and innovative Senior Leadership Team.
The job will include:
Covering classes for short-term teacher absences and working alongside pupils, helping to identify and meet individual learning needs, whilst maintaining good order and discipline in line with the School’s Behaviour Policy.
Supporting pupils in Numeracy and Literacy both within whole class activities and small group work.
A contribution to the delivery of adapted curricula.
Enabling meaningful inclusion and access to learning for our children;
Support for class teachers in the development of our innovative, exciting teaching and learning experiences within the curriculum.
About You:
The children, staff and Governors are looking for someone who:
Is an experienced and outstanding Level 3 Teaching Assistant;
Is able to cover classes for short-term teacher absences and work with small groups across all age groups;
Is able to provide help and support for pupils, and have a positive impact on classroom practice;
Has high expectations of themselves, pupils and staff and has a passion for enabling all children and staff to reach their potential;
Is a team player with the ability to motivate, lead and support colleagues;
Is extremely driven and committed to working with the Brownlow Fold team to secure our long-term goals.
