Summary


To provide psychological assessment and psychological interventions, where appropriate, under the supervision and guidance of a qualified Clinical Psychologist. This is most likely to be Goal Based Intervention(GBI) provision.

To support service user participation and collaborate with young people and their families/carers to inform service delivery and development. To liaise and develop working relationships with other services and agencies involved with young people and their families.

To work independently according to a plan agreed with your supervisor and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.

We are looking for a Psychology Assistant to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering a clinical health psychology, administrating and co-ordinating assessment measures and contributing to service development. You will be working alongside clinical psychologists.

Excellent communication skills and an ability to work within a team are essential. At least one year paid post- graduate experience of working within a mental health care setting is also essential.

Supervision will be provided by the clinical psychologist.

To provide psychological assessment and intervention to young people and children referred to Hillingdon CAMHS. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
