About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Project Worker to join our customers team immediately. This role involves working with vulnerable young people, including looked-after children, children with autism and neurodiversity, and those who have experienced harmful sexual behaviour.
You will provide high-quality, trauma-informed support, helping young people develop safe, healthy relationships and make positive changes in their lives. This is a demanding but highly rewarding role, and we are seeking someone who is well-trained, reliable, and dedicated to making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct, one-to-one support to young people in line with our programmes and safeguarding policies.
• Work closely with families, carers, and professional agencies to provide consistent support.
• Contribute to assessments, reports, and progress monitoring.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for young people.
Essential Requirements:
• Aim 3 qualified (or equivalent experience in working with young people displaying harmful sexual behaviour).
• Strong understanding of child sexual abuse, harmful sexual behaviour, and safeguarding.
• Experience working with vulnerable young people, including those with autism, neurodiversity, or in care.
• Ability to write clear reports and contribute to professional discussions.
• Experience delivering training or guidance to others is desirable.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
