We are working closely alongside with a local authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Mobile Responder on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary:
The Mobile Responder provides an efficient, reliable, and friendly emergency response service for Telecare Cardiff users. This role is dedicated to supporting vulnerable and elderly customers by responding to emergency alarm calls, providing practical care, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Operating as a critical link between the Control Centre and residents, the post holder must be prepared to work independently—including night shifts and weekends—to deliver high-quality customer satisfaction and statutory safeguarding
Responsibilities:
Visit the homes of persons who have triggered an alarm call or reported issues through the contact centre
Deal effectively with sensitive and emergency situations, liaising with next of kin, care agencies, and emergency services as required.
Program, reprogram, and install dispersed alarm units, pendants, and fast-dial buttons in user properties
Maintain clear, accurate, and concise records of all customer visits and alarm responses
Provide cover for Control Centre operators and Sheltered Housing Scheme Managers during absences.
Assist in training and mentoring new colleagues by sharing best practices and service knowledge
Essentials:
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with confidence and initiative while maintaining service quality.
Experience in delivering customer-focused information and service.
Proficient in using technology, including IT systems, mobile apps, tablets, and two-way radios.
