Location: Regional role with hybrid working
Salary: €60,000 per annum + Sodexo Benefits
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the Role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the delivery of Lifecycle and Capital Works projects across our PPP Schools and Universities portfolio. Managing an annual programme of approximately €4 million, this role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Operating within a highly regulated PPP environment, the Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and scope development through to delivery, handover, and audit readiness. The role requires strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management capability, and a disciplined approach to governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver all Lifecycle and Capital Works projects in line with contractual requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and control project scopes, programmes, budgets, and resources.
  • Maintain and update Lifecycle and Capital Plans, including associated budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure all project documentation, approvals, and trackers are accurate, current, and audit-ready.
  • Maintain and update BIM and PIM models to support capital project approvals.
  • Coordinate closely with Contract Managers, Hard FM Leads, Soft FM Manager, and the Senior Technical Manager to ensure timely submissions and project delivery.
  • Manage external contractors, consultants, and suppliers, including procurement, performance management, and compliance.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, allocating risk ownership where appropriate.
  • Ensure all works comply with health and safety legislation, building regulations, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Support internal initiatives focused on innovation, sustainability, and operational improvement.
  • Assist with account reconciliation and financial close-out for completed works.

Key Accountabilities

  • Successful delivery of all Lifecycle and Capital projects within agreed scope, time, and budget.
  • High levels of audit and compliance performance, with documentation maintained to required standards.
  • Effective integration of projects with live operational environments, minimising disruption.
  • Robust lifecycle planning that extends asset life and delivers value for money.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Project management qualification (desirable).
  • Proven experience delivering capital or lifecycle projects within regulated or PPP/FM environments.
  • Strong understanding of building standards, planned maintenance, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders and external supply chains.
  • High level of numeracy and commercial awareness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on complex, high-value PPP projects within a structured and professional environment.
  • A collaborative role with exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic decision-making.
  • Hybrid working and a regional portfolio.
  • Career development within a global organisation.
