Summary
Vico Homes is built on the foundations of WDH. We are looking for an Assets Planning Manager to join our Homes and Sustainability Team.
A home is more than four walls and a roof. It should be a safe place. A place to start things. A place of opportunities. A place to grow. A place where you feel you belong.
These are the places we provide for today and for the future. This is what marks us out as one of the leading players in the social housing sector. We have over 32,000 homes across the north of England, home to tens of thousands of people. And people are at the centre of what we do.
Our people are approachable and professional. But we’re not afraid to be optimistic and show our passion for what we do to support our customers. We share a common vision, acting confidently to ensure we remain at the forefront of making it happen.
Together, we’re building better futures and vibrant communities.
About the role
As the Assets Planning Manager, your manager will be our Head of Homes and Sustainability. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area with our Head Office in Castleford.
We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Assets Planning Manager to lead our Assets Planning and Programming team. This is a key leadership role at Vico Homes, shaping how we invest in, maintain and future-proof our homes so they remain safe, warm and high quality for our customers.
If you’re highly analytical, thrive on complex data, enjoy leading teams, and want to play a major role in the strategic management of our homes, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
*Lead the Assets Planning and Programming team, setting and reporting on clear plans, targets, KPIs and performance standards across assets, building safety, compliance and sustainability.
*Develop a comprehensive forward investment plan and pipeline of future work that ensures regulatory compliance, meets business objectives, and enhances the quality of our homes.
*Oversee the creation of robust servicing and maintenance programmes that keep our properties safe and compliant.
*Review and analyse complex data sets to shape future investment decisions, balancing multiple priorities.
*Ensure our asset data is accurate, up to date and effectively managed across all systems.
*Lead on options appraisals and feasibility studies, making clear recommendations.
What we’re looking for
*A Level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent) or working towards one.
*Strong leadership and line management experience in a property-related field.
*Significant experience in planning, scheduling, or analytical roles.
*Experience setting and monitoring property programmes within a large social housing provider.
*Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior teams.
*Highly analytical with great attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
