Crynodeb
Here at Windsor Court Care home, we are seeking an administrator on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. If you feel you would be suitable for this role, please do get in touch.

Administrative duties:
· To assist and support the home’s Manager with all administrative duties.
· To ensure all mail is opened, date stamped and dealt with, under the guidance of the home’s Manager.
· To ensure all information required by the home is prepared within the required timescales, such information to include payroll, expenses, petty cash, debtors control sheet, purchase orders, collated and authorized invoices and all other date required on Cool Care system.
· To ensure that purchase order sheets are made available weekly.
· To maintain close liaison with the Home’s Manager with regard to service users’ fee accounts.
· To maintain, if appropriate, service users personal allowance accounts.
· To complete admission sheets and ensure funding is in place. Close liaison with the service user, their family and social services must take place to ensure paperwork is completed and payment methods are agreed and implemented.
· To ensure the home’s Manager supplies you with the relevant information on any admissions and discharges.
· To be responsible for all petty cash transactions and complete weekly reconciliation.
· To assist the home’s Manager with the recruitment and selection of employees.
· To ensure all personnel files are regularly updated and stored in accordance with data protection guidelines.
· To ensure service user administration files are regularly updated and maintained in accordance with the service user’s needs. In addition, service user files should be stored in accordance with data protection guidelines.
· To ensure maintenance contracts are current and relevant documentation is filed in an easily accessible form.
· To ensure telephone calls are answered promptly, professionally and courteously, and any queries are dealt with promptly.
· To deliver telephone training to those staff identifying this as a training need.
· To ensure brochure packs are available at all times.
· To maintain all information required on Cool Care system.
Training and Development:
· To attend mandatory training days / courses, on or off site, as and when required.
· To maintain professional knowledge and competence.
General Duties
· To ensure confidentiality at all times.
· To notify the Home Manager or person in charge as soon as possible of your inability to report for duty and also on your return to work from all periods of absence.
· To promote and ensure the good reputation of the home and the Crown Care Group.
· To carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you.
Qualifications
· Business Administration NVQ Level 2 / 3 (desirable).
