INTERNAL VACANCY
Darlington Borough Councilandrsquo;s Partnerships Team delivers a broad and varied programme of projects and initiatives. It oversees structures that allow the Council to work with local businesses, voluntary and community organisations and other public bodies and also facilitates the work of independent Boards. The team is focused on delivery, organising the delivery or community focused interventions, often funded by central government. The team is responsible for delivering Darlingtonandrsquo;s 10-year Pride In Place programme, the majority of which is to deliver capital investment.
As the Partnerships Capital Programme Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the capital programme is effectively coordinated and delivered. This will involve agreeing project briefs which will often be developed through co-production with local communities, managing spend with budget, acting as the client in arranging project management and ensuring projects complete to brief and on time.
